Australian egovernment resource centre prepared a quite complete document on implementing and getting the most out of web analytics in order to optimize your online presence. 

I really like the document that can either be read in html or pdf. Although the document was prepared in September 2006 the scope of contents covers most of the subjects a newcomer to Web Analytics must deal with.

If you haven’t read any corner stone book for your Web Analytics practice so far and have been looking for good contents online I definitely recommend it.
